The first few minutes are a bit heavy-handed and uncertain, but eventually it turns into a very likable love-story comedy about mutual rivalry that turns into mutual love. I wouldn't look for anything more behind it, it's simple, funny, sensitive and Lucy Hale is just good. It's not a stand out film, but it entertains perfectly and manages to appeal to a wide audience. Probably one of the best pure romantic comedies in the last few years. An indie genre film with unknown actors and a generous budget that works in a fresh, imaginative, romantic and funny way. It benefits from a entertaining plot where the two protagonists fight for the best job in a company and play pranks on each other. Lucy Hale is both delightful and very endearing, and Corbin Bernsen plays her aloof, cool, confident nemesis with slight psychopathic traits superbly. Great pacing, nice humour, great dialogue, great actors behind the camera and a bit of that passion, and as a whole it really works well. Solid stuff.
