inglés Senior Year as a non-fantastic version of films like Big or 13 Going on 30. It has a likeable, albeit formulaic premise, that is tolerable, but it nevertheless flounders on a weak script. I didn't find the humour at all, and that's quite a problem with comedy. The film addresses some serious themes (LGBT, dream future vs bitter reality), but they are obscured by the lackluster execution. I liked Alicia Silverstone's cameo, while I had mixed feelings about Rebel Wilson. I also praise the soundtrack, even though it was basically a recycling of "oldies". Better two stars! ()

inglés You'd think a comedy with Rebel Wilson would be funny. Hmm, whoopsie-daisy. Absolutely disastrous crap that comes across like a Disney channel B-movie and dehumanizes the entire comedy genre. I didn't laugh once, there was no one joke, no funny situation, nothing. The characters are boring and featureless, and let’s not talk about the story. Rubbish. ()

inglés Rebel Wilson hasn't been in much lately, focusing instead on a healthier lifestyle. She’s lost a ton of weight and makes her return in this comedy. The film even seems to play up her transformation. Thankfully, it’s also pretty funny, making it a nice, light-hearted watch. ()

inglés Stephanie was supposed to be the star of the prom, but there was an accident. Now she's coming out of a coma after 20 years. She looks thirty-seven, but she's seventeen, and she's clear about what she wants: to finish school and become prom queen! Rebel Wilson is fine in the lead role of this Netflix comedy, and the poignant moments work unexpectedly well. Unfortunately, when it comes to humor, Alex Hardcastle seems to purposely try to sidestep anything funny in the script as much as possible. As a result, Senior Year is not a funny or witty film, but watching it will leave you feeling how funny and witty it could have been. ()
