Among this year’s batch of new Christmas films, I’ve got to hand it to the Poles for delivering the best so far. While it doesn’t quite reach the heights of their legendary Letters to Santa, David and the Elves is still pretty enjoyable. The first half hour left me a bit puzzled about what the film was actually about, but I was charmed by the festive atmosphere and some genuinely funny moments.
