Tras darse un garbeo por la Costa del Sol, Torrente decide instalarse en Marbella (donde, no sabemos muy bien por qué, se siente como en casa). Allí se dedica a lo que le puede gustar: defender al ciudadano, velar por el cumplimiento de la justicia y engañar al mayor número de inocentes posible. Entra en juego un poderoso traficante de armas enloquecido, Spinelli, que amenaza con destruir la ciudad si no le dan 2.000 millones de pesetas de nada. Sólo un hombre puede salvar la ciudad, pero en esos momentos estaba rodando otra película. Así que toda la responsabilidadrecae sobre nuestro héroe... (Lolafilms)

I don’t care what the ratings say—Torrente is the king, and anything less than five stars is just wrong. This sequel is pretty much the same as the first, and that’s exactly what makes it great. José Luis Torrente is still surrounded by idiots he takes advantage of, still bored in the car offering his partner a cross handjob, still drinking like a fish, and still harassing prostitutes. It's just classic Torrente. I can’t imagine anyone not laughing at this—if you don't find it funny, you’ve got to be a real buzzkill.
