Este es uno de los pocos casos en los que se asume la previsibilidad de la trama y no importa en absoluto, por el contrario, subraya el punto general de la historia. La cámara y el comportamiento de los personajes son muy extraños. ()
The first real oddball in the Cabinet of Curiosities series. It offers an ironic take on today’s consumer society. The main character, played brilliantly by Kate Micucci, is quite peculiar — her eyes are like grapefruits, and her hobbies, like taxidermy, don't exactly fit in with the gossiping women in small-town America. She comes across a cream that's supposed to improve her appearance, and then things start to get weird. While it has the potential to satirize society, it mostly just felt absurd to me. ()
A very disturbing metaphor of contemporary society (it would be hard to find a more horrific setting than this women's group, to be sure), shot with Juraj Herz-like cinematography and played to perfection by Kate Miccuci – her final look into the camera made me really want to applaud her. ()
