inglés Delon, a released prisoner, is harassed by the paranoid Commissioner Goitreau, and the dispute, which at first seems subtle, escalates to unsuspected proportions. The character of the commissioner, played by Michel Bouquet, is one of the most repulsive and annoying creatures ever to appear in a film. The film's dark climax is unforgettable, comparable in emotion and tone to Robbins's Dead Man Walking. ()

inglés Two acting greats in a story so real and sincere that it gives you chills. The first half is a bit tedious and uninteresting, but the second half makes up for everything and captures the viewer's attention in a truly unprecedented way. The emotionally strong ending is admittedly the only one we really desperately don't want, but it only adds to the overall feel and impact of the film. 80% ()

inglés France in the 70s and 80s really knew how to captivate film lovers, and Two Men in Town is a perfect example. It’s a beautifully told story that revolves around the complex relationship between a former thief and a police commissioner, and it’s just a pleasure to watch. This is what the French do best—telling stories that are raw, emotional, and deeply human. This film made me truly appreciate Alain Delon’s acting, and Jean Gabin will never just be "the guy with the tattoo" for me again. ()

inglés Definitely Delon's best film, one of Gabin's best and probably the most successful French crime film ever. A film that you see once, twice, three times and still can't get enough. Two Men in Town makes you think about yourself and the society you live in... even though it can give you chills. ()

inglés What can I say about this film? It’s an immensely powerful drama about how things can also go downhill for a person when they make one mistake and then just have bad luck. Should one get a second chance? Does he deserve it? And how bad is he compared to those who chase after him just because of that one mistake? Gabin and Delon are great here. ()
