inglés A nice and atmospheric location, and interesting premise and some decently done nastiness is what The Breach boasts. But it's also clumsily written, amateurishly acted at best, and above all, terribly directed. It doesn't work at all, any hint of atmosphere or tension is immediately killed by something. I went into the film despite not much feedback because of the name of the director, whose first feature I quite liked a few years ago, but I don't know. Either for some reason he delivered a performance several levels worse this time around, or I was so shitfaced when I watched The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh that I didn't notice how shoddy the director was. inglés Slash is an executive producer and music author, and his signature double-neck guitar hints at the premise of this low-budget visit to a Canadian branch of CERN. It's accompanied by a futile attempt at "Lovecraftian" elements, pathetic acting performances, and a lackluster atmosphere meant to be conveyed by a forest cabin, its neglected interior, and a tangle of wires hanging from the ceiling, because it's a scientific lab. Around the time of the adaptation of the online shooter "Dead Zed," things pick up slightly, and it might even please Cronenberg fans with its body transformation aspects. However, let's be honest, the Guns N' Roses guitarist won’t be making any money from this one. ()
