inglés Czech Dream for the 15-to-25 demographic in open beta version. Back in 2004, Klusák and Remunda released a documentary mapping the course and impact of a marketing prank with the aim of opening the audience’s eyes to the deceitfulness of marketing and Czechs’ fanaticism when it comes to getting a discount. Kazma and Co. conversely released into cinemas a marketing fake product, which is in itself just another load of marketing promises. In comparison with Czech Dream, The Movie is not even a false façade of a promised shopping mall in a field, but rather an advertisement for it that runs only in cinemas instead of on television. So, how far have we come in the intervening 19 years? People were angry at Klusák and Remunda back then for making them unwitting participants in the prank, for causing them to push themselves in front of the camera and for daring to force on us a view of marketing as a business of lies. Now everyone is enthusiastically flocking to The Movie with the vision that they will be part of the prank, at the end of which the demigod Kazma, armoured in a sizable portion of reputation laundering, will confirm what everyone clearly knows, which is that marketing is a lie and everything is a prank. In doing so, he will pull a pile of money out of them and this won’t bother anyone, because it’s a flex and instead of some annoying, time-consuming catharsis, simply saying “meta, lol” will pass for reflection. español Si fuera una PELÍCULA sobre un tonto que cava un hoyo en la propiedad de personas mayores desprevenidas para poder engañar a la gente con un concurso, y si hubiera funcionado, podría haber sido una comedia bastante buena con algunos destellos de ideas humorísticas. ()

inglés Circus Bartošek presents: Jester and the Queen. It amuses me that Kazma managed to attract crowds of people of all ages to the event without knowing what the movie was about. The only thing that was clear, unsurprisingly, was that nothing would be as it seemed. Perhaps that is why in all public spheres, viewers are competing to see who is the most excited about the fact that The Movie was not really much of a movie. This jester, trickster, narcissist, provocateur, and literal comedian attacked various human signals, led by greed, and won. And he did it in a feature-length episode of the show from the stream, which he had the audacity to send to cinemas. Of course, there is drama in it, there are a lot of tricks, plenty of quotes, and plenty of flaws that have somehow made their way from domestic cinematography. I just can't help myself, I'm falling for it again and saying it's from the heart. At least as much from the heart as Kamil Nekamil can still manage. And yes, it looks like he is mocking everything and everyone again. But probably not everything. And certainly not everyone. ()
