Reseñas (1)
Mimiko, the protagonist, is very similar to Pippi Longstocking with her red-haired braids, her independence and the fact that she has the whole house to herself (for a while). If you overlook the fact that little Mimiko is also sort of the daughter of the great Panda and the mother of the Panda's son, which makes her effectively a cousin, this is an easy-going, if somewhat infantile, one-off whose target audience is definitely children. In the visuals of Daddy Panda, you can clearly see traits of the later Totoro, who is qualitatively different. ()
