Errol Flynn and Greer Garson star in this adaptation of book one of John Galsworthy's noted Victorian-era novel "The Forsyte Saga." Garson plays Irene, a music teacher who becomes part of the wealthy Forsyte clan by wedding the calculating, cold-hearted Soames Forsyte. Although Soames virtually bribed Irene into marrying him, he never quite manages to buy her love, and after two years she falls for Philip Bosinney -- fiancé of the young June Forsyte. But this union is not to be, and surprisingly Irene's connection to the Forsytes will not be severed. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
