A captivating comedy in its pacing, performances, and also in some scenes that can really take you by surprise. The cadence of the dialogue is sometimes truly breathtaking, and Katharine Hepburn proves how great she is. Spencer Tracy does so too, and their chemistry together is the spice of this film, which feminists must appreciate.
