inglés Unfortunately, not a very good comedy. It's as if the authors were afraid that if they made fun of the disabled, people would stone them. So instead of a cracking comedy, The Ringer is a classic story about a guy who "wakes up and discovers himself." The jokes are few, the good ones even fewer, but Johnny Knoxville and especially Brian Cox are very fine. It's not very funny, though. ()

inglés Johnny Knoxville can do better. The Ringer is very down-to-earth in terms of humour, considering the material is working with. It's full of retards all around and, world wonder, the creators don't go for the throat with the humour, on the contrary they make fun of no one, they don't mock anyone and the whole thing doesn't seem to have the courage or balls to step outside the field of formal correctness. In the end, then, it is a comedy poor in jokes that tells the story in a way, but doesn't make anyone laugh significantly, and that's a mistake. Champions was far more open in this regard, entertained more, and also hit the viewer more skillfully in terms of story and acting. ()
