En el Nueva York de los años treinta la situación no es fácil. Fanny Brice, la famosa cantante, se acaba de divorciar de su primer marido y apenas logra encontrar trabajo como artista, hasta que conoce a Billy Rose, un escritor de canciones que posee su propio Nightclub. The intoxication of Funny Girl has fizzled out a lot in Funny Lady simply because the modest and funny girl has turned into an annoying and boring lady. It is a fact that Barbara Streisand's star didn't shine and impress me as much as in Funny Girl. The choreography of the dances and the music, however, remained great. In short, a drier, loose sequel to the very fresh first part.
