Romain es un exitoso fotógrafo de modas parisino. A sus 31 años, descubre que tiene cáncer terminal y que cualquier tratamiento sólo prolongará la agonía. Romain decide pasar sus últimos meses en paz, aunque el camino hacia la muerte no estará exento de negación y rabia. Durante este proceso, se vuelve cruel con su amante, desprecia a su hermana y corta comunicación con sus padres. Hace un breve viaje a casa de su abuela y en el camino recibe una extraña oferta que le brinda la posibilidad de reconciliarse con la vida. Tiempo de vivir, filmada con maestría por Ozon, es una reflexión sumamente conmovedora sobre la memoria y la mortalidad. (Vértigo Films Esp.)

I am at a loss. I was really looking forward to seeing this (supposedly) powerful film, but , I don't know if the fault is mine, I didn't feel anything very strong or intense from it as I originally expected. Of course, the premise is interesting at first glance, but somehow not particularly fleshed out. I thought it was going to be reflective, but then I didn't think much of it. The cast is mostly good, especially Jeanne Moreau. The music suited the scenes well, and there were just those occasional camera moments that are appropriate for this type of film. I'm just saying that it's a shame about the amount of untapped potential and I was also a bit put off by the unexpected ending, but maybe in time I'll come around to it. 65%.
