inglés The creators managed to connect all the important storylines quite well. On the other hand, I was annoyed by Dexter's emotional development, which ruined my final impression. If there had been less of the romantic plot, I would have been more convinced about the five-star rating. 5*- ()

inglés The twist in Season 7 is a shot in the dark. The whole thing has been going in circles since the end of Season 2. But in the end, I was pleasantly surprised by the Hannah-Dex-Deb triangle. And even Senor Batista got his pension and Captain LaGuerta got a good dose of what she deserved. ()

inglés The seventh season had a tough task from the very first episode, as it decided to develop multiple storylines simultaneously. LaGuerta gradually pieces together the puzzle, ending with Dexter’s name and the label “serial killer.” Additionally, there’s much greater emphasis on Deb, who has to come to terms with the unpleasant fact that her beloved brother is a murderer. On top of that, the creators introduced the Ukrainian mafia led by the charismatic Ray Stevenson (though he falls slightly short compared to Trinity as a villain, he’s still a superbly written character). Despite all this, I really enjoyed the seventh installment of the saga. The acting is once again reliable, with new and interesting characters introduced, and that ending! It was such a tense spectacle that I’m still surprised it didn’t break me :D For me, it’s 8.5/10. ()
