Sinopsis(1)

Jason once again proves to be a conscious killer of people with a sense of ideas and fun, which can be appreciated especially in the first half on the boat. As we hit the streets of NY City, the pace eases up and the rest is just a sleepy wait for the end, which offers nothing new under the darkened night moon. Hopefully, at least the thoughtful look at the hockey billboard will stay in my memory longer. ()

inglés Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan isn't fundamentally a strong entry in the series; it rather falls into mediocrity, mainly because it's not as fresh as it initially appears. I see the problem also lies in the fact that the gore in comparison to the first and second films is really lacking and quite poor here. In this regard, there's essentially no variability, and the film drowns in murders that sometimes hint at originality but are executed in a way that reduces them to mere ticking off of names. ()
