Judith Traherne is a rich heiress, but despite a life of parties she takes little pleasure in the trappings of wealth. When she begins to suffer from dizzy spells, her doctor, Frederick Steele has to tell her that she has a brain tumor. She undergoes surgery, and at the same time falls in love with Dr Steele.
