It's beautifully colorful, thanks to Technicolor, plus it's quite entertaining and some of the songs are catchy, or at least quite clever. Frank Sinatra sings captivatingly, but I suppose there wasn't much doubt about that. It's just sometimes so overwhelmingly joyful that it might stop being enjoyable for you. The sailors' effort to get laid is, however, amusing in this respect. ()
