If there's anything worse than an awful B-movie, it's an awful Russian B-movie. Uninteresting, boring, annoying, predictable. ()
A solid kill-or-be-killed style film. With prisons bursting at the seams, two hundred Russian prisoners are sent to an island to survive without any security supervision, but as usual, they soon split into two groups and a gritty Russian spectacle ensues. There's no shortage of decent acting, likeable main characters, and badass villains, a decent dose of violence, cannibalism, and enough suspense and action to keep you on your toes. Yeah, I like these movies. The finale is awesome. 80%. ()
