A sus 58 años, Robin Williams ha decidido con esta cinta alejarse de papeles en historias más comerciales y familiares para meterse en la piel de Lance Clayton, un hombre con grandes aspiraciones, que siempre quiso ser un afamado escritor, pero que tuvo que acabar conformándose con ser profesor de literatura en un instituto, con un hijo completamente insufrible y una novia que ni siquiera quiere decir públicamente que están juntos. Pero cuando sufra un suceso a la vez trágico y vergonzoso, se le presentará la oportunidad de conseguir toda la fama y fortuna con la que siempre ha soñado... si es capaz de vivir con el cargo de conciencia. It's not as unusual a film as it might seem, but it definitely addresses themes that aren't very traditional. The whole thing is presented in a way that truly borders on comedy and tragedy, with the comedic approach and lightheartedness ultimately prevailing. Definitely an interesting film worth watching.

Robin Williams is a great actor—I've always liked him—but I’ve never seen him in something quite this odd. Life can be full of strange, unpredictable moments, and this film definitely leans into that. It’s not your typical story, which makes it feel refreshingly original. You never really know what’s going to happen next, and honestly, anything could. The ending completely caught me off guard!
