En plena noche, un par de desempleados conducen su auto a gran velocidad, mientras discuten su futuro. Súbitamente arrollan a un hombre parado a mitad del camino. Al lado de éste, un maletín repleto de billetes: dos millones de Euros al alcance de sus manos y ningún testigo. Al día siguiente, en un almacén a unos metros del lugar del accidente, la policía encuentra el cuerpo de Mélodie, una niña ciega que conserva cierta alegría en el rostro. Otro secuestro infantil, sus horas están contadas. La intuición de la joven agente Lucie, quien enfrenta su primer caso, será fundamental para esclarecer la investigación. (Nueva Era Films)

Mélanie Laurent was fantastic, but she found herself in a crime thriller that got ridiculously confusing, especially in the second half. The beginning had a great setup and really pulled me in, with an epic and mysterious vibe. But as it went on, it lost steam, and by the end, it definitely wasn’t the French Se7en it could’ve been. Still, it was enjoyable, mainly thanks to Mélanie. She’s the one thing this film really has going for it.
