Amazing episode. Breathtaking scenes of the Erie with the visual opulence of classic big movies, a great duel of Stark vs Lannister and overall a very plot-dense episode where the pieces on the chessboard move forward at a very fast pace. Most of the story revolves around the troubles in the capital, the wilderness part doesn't get any space at all this time. A balanced and thick episode. ()
An excellently crafted episode that delivered everything I wanted: great atmosphere, tension, intrigue, and even quality action. I was thoroughly entertained throughout. I found the different characters' approaches to the potential Dothraki invasion fascinating — while the king wants Daenerys dead, the Mountain is already preparing supplies for the raiders. The only thing that turned me off was the obligatory gay scene. I think HBO would be better off ditching the soft porn they seem to include in all their series. If viewers want that, they can find plenty on the internet. ()
