Snaživého starosty mi bylo místy hodně líto, ale s některými zatvrzelými povahami holt příliš nenadělá. Zdá se, že je jednodušší pro vesnici zařídit bazén či snížit nezaměstnanost, než dát dohromady nezadané a pasivní třicátníky. Já jsem mu celou dobu fandil. K vyššímu hodnocení mi chybí trochu větší aktivita režisérky, zdálo se mi, že s protagonisty málo komunikuje a jen pozoruje. Me dio pena en algunos momentos el diligente alcalde, pero con algunas personalidades obstinadas simplemente no se puede hacer mucho. Parece más fácil construir una piscina o reducir el desempleo en el pueblo que reunir a solteros pasivos de treinta años. Siempre estuve a su favor. Para tener una evaluación más alta, me falta un poco más de actividad de la directora, me pareció que comunicaba poco con los protagonistas y solo observaba. (05.06.2011)

The most interesting thing about the film is that a place like Zemplínske Hámre actually exists, and the movie introduces it to us. Even in today's times, such a phenomenon is peculiar; on the other hand, it shows that the socialization of people can sometimes be problematic. The documentary itself, however, doesn't really say anything substantial. It doesn't judge, it just observes, which I find a pity, and therefore the film didn't grip me that much. (28.11.2014)
