La película más cargada de acción de la serie y la más pobre en argumento: habría esperado un mejor remate de Andrew Kevin Walker. En cualquier caso, visualmente perfecta. ()
John Frankenheimer is indeed known for his mastery of car chase sequences (or was, unfortunately), and he demonstrated his skills in a way that few others could. However, the screenplay provided by Andrew Kevin Walker lacks a more original idea, and his favorite and mostly usual depressing culmination does not take place in this case. Formally, it’s more or less flawless, but as a whole, it is uninteresting and dull, and the final twist, which is supposed to be the point, is insufficient in this case. ()
John Frankenheimer has never disappointed me with any of his films and this short (unfortunately his last work) proves that the film world was dealing with a real pro and an expert in frantic yet clearly shot action. Yes, it's possible even without the stupid evil ten cuts in one second. The story is rather classic, but not stupid, and while the point is not surprising, it is nevertheless quite nice. ()
This is the way to film a proper car chase, not the lame attempts like in Alarm for Cobra 11 – The Highway Police. The film has a simple plot, which could have been overlooked given the running time, but it's still a visually above-average action affair. ()
