Aunque la atractiva Amanda Shelton es propietaria y chef de un encantador restaurante que ha heredado de su madre, sus habilidades culinarias dejan mucho que desear. Tom Bartlett es un alto ejecutivo de unos grandes almacenes que ha conseguido triunfar gracias a su sentido práctico. Aunque parece que estos dos seres no tienen nada en común, cuando Tom visita el restaurante de Amanda, ella se siente inmediatamente atraída por él y pone todo su entusiasmo y esmero en preparar la comida, y cuando Tom empieza a saborear la cena se queda prendado de ella. Wow, some elements at the beginning were actually quite good. Even the crab isn't bad at all. But then it turned into a not-very-interesting romance set in the world of cooking, and I would bet that some of the cooking is done quite poorly. The worst part is when the main characters kiss and start floating. The plot breaks down and gets really silly at that point. This was supposed to be a plot twist where love faces challenges, but it's so banal and clichéd that it doesn't have the right spark. If the film was watchable up to that point, it becomes quite a mess afterward.
