inglés If it weren’t for the beautiful Alaskan landscape, this movie would deserve a Boo! review. I simply can’t understand how they got so many interesting actors to play in such a bullshit movie. I mean who is it worth for to act in a movie that is pretending to be a horror movie where the main antagonist is a bear? That poor bear… those morons he had to deal with were definitely not something to be envious of. ()

inglés Satisfaction. A solid eco-survival film with the best cast ever seen in horror in the last ten years. The bear is more than fine, his roar is goosebump-inducing and it appears on screen very often, which is a plus. I also liked the attractive setting, the decent look, the decent amount of suspense and the bit of gore (they could have pushed the envelope more in this regard, but other elements made up for it for me). The absolute highlight is the ripped face of Billy Bob Thornton and the finale, which has quite the balls (not counting one very inappropriate digital scene). A recommendation worthy affair and the best horror film of the year so far. 75%. ()

inglés Into the Grizzly Maze brought me most of what I expect from B-movies. There's some good action here, with very well-executed elements at times. The story is precisely paced, and some characters are interesting and well-written. It lacks a bit of humor, but this is somewhat compensated by the incredibly beautiful shots of the Alaskan landscape. I'd like to live there. ()
