Irving Zisman, de ochenta y seis años de edad, emprende un viaje a través de Estados Unidos con el compañero más inusual: su nieto de ocho años de edad Billy, en El Abuelo Sinvergüenza. Los emblematicos personajes de Jackass Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) y Billy (Jackson Nicoll) llevaran a la audiencia de la película a lo largo de la gira con cámara oculta más loca jamás captada en cámara. En el camino Irving le presentará al joven e impresionable Billy a personas, lugares y situaciones que le dan un nuevo significado al término "crianza". El dúo se encontrará con strippers masculinos, concursantes de certamen de belleza infantil descontentos (y sus madres igualmente descontentos), dolientes en la funeraria, clientes de bar motociclista, y un montón de ciudadanos incautos. At first, I gave the movie a three-star review, but then I upgraded to four stars. I had a really good laugh watching this movie. Johnny Knoxville took one scene from Jackass and turned it into a feature film similar to Borat. And it was flawless. Scenes at the escort service, at the shop but also pretty much anywhere else were simply amazing. On top of that, you have the grandson who is as good as his crazy horny granddad and who quickly tunes to the same wavelength. What else can you want from this movie but some honest laughs? I got plenty of those.

I had a free afternoon to kill, so I watched Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. It killed not only the afternoon, but everything within a 100-kilometre radius. This is a rip-off of Sacha Baron Cohen's way to set up a foul-mouthed person or an awkward character among ordinary people and watch them react. Baron Cohen does it for political reasons and satire, he has an idea and talent. But this film is boring, uninteresting and old fashioned. 2* for the ending and Johnny Knoxville.

Admittedly, I don't have much experience with Jackass. At the height of their popularity, they completely passed me by. I have to say, in this case, I had a pretty good time at points. I liked that it had a story, even though it's primarily just a series of scenes. I'll have to give these crazies another chance and revisit their older pieces. I might skip the series, but the movies could definitely capture my interest. Johnny Knoxville's mask is unreal. If I didn't know it was him, I wouldn't recognize him.
