inglés A proficient French exploitation director (Calvaire, Alleluia) tried to make an action film and he didn't do badly at all. It’s undeniable that this is director of exploitation films and so we have some decent bloody scenes here as well. We have a likable protagonist, a master gun wielder, the best cop far and wide but as time goes on he comes in contact with the wrong people. How does it end up? Find out for yourself. It's good, but for a higher rating I would add maybe more action or a twist:) 65% ()

inglés A subtle genre film from France that slipped under my radar for 7 years! It's a solid crime film with a gritty undertone, which is a specialty of creators from this region, and Colt 45 delivers this perfectly. I was impressed right from the start, especially by the shooting training sequences of the main character, which really caught my attention. The presence of some well-known names, with the legend Gérard Lanvin leading the cast, is a nice touch. While the young actor playing Vincent Miles didn't exactly deliver an extraordinary performance, he wasn't glaringly out of place either. As the story progresses, it becomes quite convoluted, with some decent twists and shootouts. However, I think the ending could have been better conceived; they aimed for a shock, which they achieved, but it felt a bit overcomplicated. Still, I recommend it, as there aren't many solid, old-school films being made these days. And that's a shame. 6.5/10 ()
