The Black Water Vampire

Black Water Vampire is simply a product of the current era and the contemporary horror market. Taking a camera in hand and finding an abandoned place, moving the camera slightly from side to side, faster during tense moments, then simply waiting for darkness and repeating everything, is just a formula that can be easily replicated. Then it's just a matter of emphasizing the sounds, and the desired effect will come. As a viewer, it doesn't entertain me, especially in the sense that these are films that plagiarize each other and deliver zero content. (06.10.2014)

It’s already a rule that every year we get one of this über-classic found-footage horror movies about a group of young documentarists going into the woods to investigate a local legend. Blair Witch Revival, this time with a rubber vampire, which in film looks even less scary than in the poster, which says something. Utterly devoid of ideas. I see no reason why anyone should watch it. (25.01.2014)
