Sinopsis(1)

Primavera en tiempos de guerra. Cada día, un lechero atraviesa el frente en burro, esquivando las balas para llevar su preciada mercancía a los soldados. Bendecido por la suerte en su misión, amado por una hermosa aldeana, un futuro apacible parece esperarle... hasta que la llegada de una misteriosa mujer italiana da un vuelco a su vida. inglés When the camera focuses on a chicken admiring itself in a mirror, I thought, "Yep, that's the Emir Kusturica I know." But as the film went on, I realized it was missing that classic Kusturica humor. Some shots are breathtaking, while others feel a bit pointless. But then the ending hit, and I was blown away. I have to admit, On the Milky Road has its charm. If only it had skipped the digital effects that ended up making the whole thing feel a bit silly — it could've been much better and more true to Kusturica’s usual style. ()

inglés An absolutely crazy love story set against the backdrop of a war conflict somewhere in the Balkans. That's just Emir Kusturica for you, and that's why I love him, including his beautiful scenery and amazing music. While there is some visual craziness here that might warrant a lower rating, like when the central couple flies down a waterfall, overall, I had a great time, and I think that's what really matters. Moreover, some of the situations depicted made me think more deeply. To be specific, what did the snake, which appears mostly in the tense moments of the film, actually symbolize? There are many ways to interpret this... ()
