Siglo IX. Desterrados por su propio rey, un grupo de vikingos bajo el mandato del joven y audaz Asbjörn queda atrapado tras las líneas enemigas, en la costa de la actual Escocia, después de que su barco quede destruido durante una tormenta. Su única posibilidad de sobrevivir es encontrar un camino que los lleve hasta el asentamiento vikingo de Danelag, pero no será fácil. Su viaje se convierte en una carrera por salvar sus vidas cuando tras capturar a la hija del rey Dunchaid, éste envía a sus más peligrosos mercenarios tras ellos. I feel like this movie wasn’t all that bad, right? It might have been produced by the Switzerland and the RSA, which is just weird for a Viking era movie, but on the other hand, it had gorgeous nature and the movie’s made Vikings into such charming dudes that even a kitten might lose against them. It was perfectly mediocre. It wasn’t bad at all, but it wasn’t smart either.

Sure, it's a B-movie, but considering it's relatively low-budget, the costumes are good, and actually, the violence special effects are pretty well done. It looks good and you can see the effort that someone was trying to say something. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, and it's perfectly within striking distance of an average rating. It's not a great film, but it's not a flop either.
