La segunda temporada de Fargo se presenta como una precuela de la primera entrega, trasladándonos a 1979 en el entorno geográfico de las cataratas Sioux (Dakota del Sur) y Luverne (Minnesota). Desde allí, el joven agente de policía Lou Solverson, aún recuperándose de su servicio militar en Vietnam cuatro años atrás, investiga un caso que involucra a una familia local de criminales, los Gerhardt, y su rivalidad con una importante mafia. A su lado tiene a su suegro, el sheriff Hank Larsson (Ted Danson), un imperturbable veterano de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. (Movistar+)

Season 2 hit all the right notes for me right from the start. It served up a hefty dose of dark humor, a promising storyline, and introduced us to a young Lou Solverson. What really excites me is that it looks like we're finally going to get an explanation for the Sioux Falls massacre, which was teased multiple times in the first season. The creators didn’t hold back on the action either, making this a strong start to the season.
