Sinopsis(1)

Season 1 (2013) (S01)

inglés What's the big deal? I started the first episode and had to double-check if I was actually watching the right one. The show throws you into Rick and Morty’s world so fast that I struggled to keep up with the chaotic storytelling at first. That chaotic energy is clearly a signature of the series, and it took me a while to get used to it in the first season. It’s like a mashup of The Simpsons (family dynamics), South Park (vulgarity), and Futurama (sci-fi and fantasy themes), all loaded with pop culture references that seem to be a big part of its appeal. It hasn't fully clicked for me yet, but I’ll give the second season a shot. ()

Season 2 (2015) (S02)

inglés It took a little time, but I’m really starting to get into it. Once that brutal blackened metal Rick and Morty logo flashes on screen, you know you’re in for a wild ride of nonstop craziness. I have no idea where the creators come up with these ideas, but they just keep delivering. It’s still chaotic and sometimes downright ridiculous, but overall... I’m ready for the next season. The soundtrack choices are spot on too. The finale, set to Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt," was a blast. ()

Season 3 (2017) (S03)

inglés When I started the third season, I was convinced this would be the point where I’d finally give the show five stars. The third episode of the season was absolutely fantastic — I was hooked from start to finish. But then, the following episodes lost a bit of that spark. The only standout after that was episode seven, which was packed with wisdom in every line and turned out to be an incredibly intriguing episode. This season made me realize how Rick and Morty, with its unique brand of vulgarity, often tackles unconventional themes that aren’t always funny — in fact, they can be quite sad and depressing. Episode seven, with that haunting Blonde Redhead track, is going to stick with me for a long time. ()

Season 4 (2019) (S04)

inglés I found the fourth season a bit weaker overall, but then episode eight hit, and it completely blew my mind. Whoever came up with the acid vat idea deserves a big thank you — and a gallon of local beer. It's also interesting to see Rick’s character evolve; he's not as much of a deadbeat as he used to be. I'm definitely on board for the next season, even if only a few of the ten episodes are truly epic while the rest are just solid entertainment for an average day. ()
