Yes, sex addiction can exist, and I'm quite glad the film brings attention to it, but why does it do it in such an incredibly dumb, unoriginal, and clichéd way? The way the protagonist behaves at the beginning is so off-putting... She's shy but suddenly develops behavior that doesn't fit her. Is it addiction, or just screenwriting ineptitude? Annoying and predictable with a hardly believable resolution in the spirit of the American dream. ()
