Una niña enferma llamada Alicia quiere conseguir el vestido de la serie japonesa 'Magical Girl Yukiko', y su padre Luis moverá cielo y tierra para conseguírselo. En su búsqueda conocerá a una joven con desorden mental llamada Bárbara y con un profesor retirado de nombre Damián. Los tres acabarán encerrados en una espiral de chantajes. Emotionally, it's more like three stars, but for the unexpected and shocking ending and my love for the Spaniards, I have to give it a weak four. I don't think I've seen anything interesting from them this year, so why not. Magical Girl has an interesting and novel premise, though it works rather only as a drama and only turns into a thriller in the last 15 minutes, which is a great pity. The Spaniards revel in twists, suspense and atmosphere even not shying away from violence, but this film focuses only on the characters and the story. It is still worth seeing for its originality, but it is not very entertaining. 70%
