The season's grand finale was almost perfect, except for one big flaw - the departure of Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson) from the series. I already know I'm going to miss her. However, the main focus of the episode on the relationship between Charles and Diana was a welcome one, as it wasn't about romance, but more like a softer version of the War of the Roses. ()
A fast-paced, dynamic and focused final episode that maximises the impact of the denouement of the two key events that series four is exclusively about, namely Diana and Charles's toxic relationship and the Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher's reign. ()
