A solid start to the second season, which slowly begins to style Pablo as an iconic arch-villain and symbol of evil, rather than a cocaine smuggler and drug lord. Why not, it’s actually pretty accurate.

At first, I thought the pace was a bit slow, and I was ready to give it "only" four stars. But then it picked up just the way I'm used to. I'm absolutely fascinated by the contrast between the lazy calmness and the sudden bursts of raw violence paired with a complete disregard for life. A real treat.
