François is a small time drug dealer who wants to call it quits. His dream is to become the official distributor of the Mr Freeze popsicle brand in the Maghreb. This ideal life, which he yearns for, vanishes when he learns that Danny, his mother, has spent all his life’s savings. Putin, the local boss, talks about an interesting deal in Spain, which François can’t refuse if he wants to get the money back. Lamya his childhood crush, Henry a former father-in-law just out of prison, the two young Mohamed and his mother who’s the head of a gang of women pickpockets, all get involved and nothing will happen as planned! Una divertida película francesa sobre gánstere, ambientada principalmente en la ciudad española de Benidorm, cuyo carácter urbano de mala calidad con un ambiente playero invita a una confrontación de un variopinto grupo de delincuentes. Karim Leklou, bien elegido, como un ladroncillo y la expresiva Isabelle Adjani como su madre manipuladora con la racha de ladrona alfa. Vincent Cassel está sorprendentemente subdesarrollado, pero el mafioso británico interpretado por Sam Spruell es delicioso incluso en sus pocas apariciones. El motor de la película tiene que ver con los personajes y su interesante estilización. La trama se puede resumir en una frase y no es tan sofisticada y resolutamente presentada como estamos acostumbrados con Guy Ritchie.

Interesting insight into the bizarre world of French drug gangs. Most of the characters in the film are either total lunatics or totally drugged lunatics. Almost everyone wears disgusting football jerseys and even goes to drug deals in shorts and sandals. I went to see the film mainly because of Vincent Cassel - he is always a guarantee of quality - but also because of Isabelle Adjani, whom I hadn't seen in anything for a long time. The latter has a strange role in the film as an unsympathetic and calculating mother, which didn't really entertain me. In contrast, Cassel steals the whole film for himself - although he only appears in a supporting role here, his character is the most entertaining in the whole film. I also enjoyed the British gangster played by Sam Spruell, whose worst fears eventually catch up with him, hehe. Overall, this is a very crazy comedy, which, thanks to its pace, doesn't have much time to bore you and will easily entertain you in the space of 94 minutes. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's worth seeing.

A decent French gangster film about drug dealers with an excellent Isabelle Adjani, and Vincent Cassel is also good, even if only in a supporting role. The main character was a bit ulikeable because of how stupid he was and his mistake put him in an unpleasant situation, but I have to admit that the final fuck up with the viewer is impressive and very unexpected. I didn't find it very funny, but it is definitely an entertaining and film and Oulaya Amamra is a babe! 70%
