What comes to my mind when I remember this movie? That it was damn long, but like really. 162 minutes about a guy who couldn't shut up and gradually transformed in front of the screen is probably enough for everyone. On the other hand, the topic is supposedly a must-read in Denmark, so I understand that someone wanted to put their heart into the film adaptation. It had its moments and because of them, it's worth enduring almost three hours. If I had to name the film somehow, it would be like a total epic family drama from a Danish setting.
