Sunderland 'Til I Die - Série 3

On a river where ships were built, a fierce game of football is still being played, and at least once before a documentary series has been made about it. Unfortunately, this time it is more of a miniature series where the part I always enjoyed the most, namely the rises and falls in the rankings throughout the entire season, is pretty much squeezed into the middle of a single episode. The rest is devoted to other more or less anonymous residents and, of course, to those highly anticipated matches where everything is at stake. This is by far the weakest chapter of the Sunderland chronicles, which most of the time seems forced and purely for the amusement of eager fans, which I can appreciate. Unfortunately, the joy of creation is gone, both at first and second glance, and points are only gained by the power of sports sentiment, a surprisingly natural sense of logical closure of the cycle, and a twist that would seem exaggerated in a movie, but here was written by life.
