L.S. Lowry fue una de las figuras artísticas más importantes del Reino Unido de mediados del siglo 20. Lowry era un pintor famoso por su visión única del noroeste industrial de Inglaterra. "I’m a man who paints, nothing more, nothing less.." One wonders whether it’s worse when a parent tries to fulfill their own ambitions through their child or suffocates the child’s own ambitions. The selfish one cries, catch the selfish one, until the cup overflows, and only the amount of love determines the consequences. A mundane story of ordinary people, where one happens to be an artist who battles internal angels rather than demons. Adding sedatives to plum pudding probably wouldn’t help, would it? Minus one scarlet for the overuse of the sentimental piano.
