inglés Finally, I met a truly beautiful story at the Italian film festival Mittel Cinema Fest. And even though you could scream in the classic Italian way, there is no screaming here fundamentally. And when it does scream, it is not superficial and everything has a much deeper meaning. I haven't encountered such honestly told stories of different people on our planet in a long time. Sad, yet magical at the same time. Positive and negative emotions constantly alternated, and the meeting with my grandmother was a solid cold shower for me. People like this should forever live in solitude and not interfere with anyone's life. Goddess of Fortune is one of the most emotionally impactful Italian films of recent years that I have experienced. Plus, those backdrops, it's simply a beauty to behold. ()

inglés The Goddess of Fortune has an almost horror-like beginning that immediately puts a bug in your head. The film mixes dramatic and comedic lines in an artful way, on the one hand you are amused by scenes from everyday life, on the other, it tackles topics such as serious illness or partner crisis, and both lines work and feel natural. Even though the film is almost two hours long, I was not bored at all, and I was eagerly awaiting to see which way things would turn out. There are a few issues, but this Italian tragicomedy really won me over, so I rate it full marks. ()
