En Niza, Costa Azul francesa, se encuentra el colegio inglés femenino St. Hilda, residencia de multitud de atractivas jóvenes. Durante las vacaciones de verano, nuevos profesores se incorporan al centro como refuerzos para el próximo curso. Pero la llegada de los nuevos docentes coincidirá con una oleada de atroces crímenes que aterrorizarán el lugar. The Young, the Evil and the Savage can't be accused of not selecting beautiful girls, whom the camera captures quite sensually. The camera work is generally a big positive of the film. But the story falls a bit short and lacks a bigger punch – especially in execution, which at times felt very lackluster to me. I.e.: "We want to scare people, but not too much." I'm quite glad that later on, the giallo genre evolved into something more explicit.
