Stephen Fry is a witty actor and commentator on current affairs, but I haven't read his book. But if it's presented in a similar style, I can't imagine it being particularly funny. The film isn't funny; the humor isn't even particularly dry, often nonexistent. Sometimes the good signs end up just being average. ()
An unbelievably nice and crazy comedy with a sarcastic main hero who loves to curse and swear as a sailor in the worst dirty port pub. If I watch it again, I would probably like it even more as it would be easier to get through all that sarcasm and actually understand the story. ()
